Not long after our bank accounts were hastily closed down by Barclays and Co-op, Her Majesy's Treasury sent us this letter that states unequivocally, 'CAGE is not itself and never has been subject to any financial restrictions under UK law.' This despite the Charity Commission's sudden investigation of our two funders and the investigating of two of our former board members by their respective professional bodies. It appears that even though CAGE hasn't behaved criminally, it can still be treated as though it has.
